What follows is a discussion guide to be used in a small group to facilitate group interaction and application in regards to the most recent sermon.

What assumptions or observations did you have regarding Christianity before giving your life to Christ?

 

Share about an experience you’ve had regarding sharing your faith with someone.

 

Read Matthew 28:18-20. 

 

What motivates you (personally) to share Christ with others?

 

This biblical mission calls us to share the news of Jesus Christ. Doug Birdsall mentioned that ambivalence has become a problem facing our mission. What are your thoughts on the existence of this problem?

 

Doug mentioned that the solution is “God has chosen you”. How does that strike you? How are you doing with that which God has chosen you to do?

 

Lastly we were encouraged with a promise: Jesus says, “I am with you always”. How does that empower you?
