What follows is a discussion guide to be used in a small group to facilitate group interaction and application in regards to the most recent sermon.
Essential Christianity: What Do We Believe About Salvation?
Describe a circumstance in your life when you were saved from something (be it big or small)?
Read Romans 3:21-24. What is it in us that leads us to think we are earning grace?
What do these verses suggest about the way we view others?
Read Romans 5:6-11.
How does this salvation change the way you feel about yourself?
How does this salvation change the way you feel about circumstances that you face?
How does this salvation impact your actions/conversations at work (or home with your kids) on a daily basis?
Close in Prayer (consider praying through Ephesians 2:13).
