Essential Christianity: What Do We Believe About Holy Spirit?
Describe a circumstance in which you felt empowered by the Holy Spirit?
Christ-followers have been chosen by God, purchased by Jesus Christ, and made His by the Holy Spirit. What response does this truth call out in you?
The Holy Spirit makes available to us the love God showers down. He is helps us know the life God has for us, and He helps us live the life God has for us. Describe your experience of the Spirit helping you know and live the life God has for you?
Read John 16:5-16.
How is it that we can experience (gain access) to the Spirit?
What is the evidence of the Holy Spirit in someone’s life?
Describe some of this fruit (or evidence) that you see in the lives of those in your group.
