Ministries of Church Leadership

Elders are chosen by the body to work with our pastors and staff to direct the spiritual life of the church and work to nurture and equip the congregation. Elected to serve on the Session, which governs the life of the church, elders are men and women who are recognized for their depth of spiritual maturity and wisdom.

 

Deacons likewise are men and women known in the church family both for their spiritual maturity and for their heart of service. They serve on the Board of Deacons, which provides oversight for ministries within the church that meet the needs of those who are sick, grieving, elderly, or facing other challenging life circumstances.
