Other Ways to Use Your Time and Talents

There are opportunities to use your unique gifts within the body of Christ in each of the other four Discipleship Destinations, as well as the specific area of serving. Following are just a few of them:

Abiding: join the Worship Arts Ministry in leadership, as a singer or instrumentalist; help with Kid’s Praise Choirs; welcome and assist worshipers on Sunday mornings; join a prayer team.

Learning: work with our children or teens on Sunday mornings; teach or assist in a Bible study or Sunday Adult Learning Community.

Relating: lead or host a growth group; organize or assist with an affinity group event; help with meal preparation and clean-up; encourage and support our older adults.

Reaching: be the hands and feet of Christ to our neighborhoods and communities by working with such groups as Habitat for Humanity, Matrix Lifeline, or New Focus; help with Christmas for Everyone or The Other Day activities.
