Food Pantry
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3.21-23 NRSV
This fundamental truth often eludes community members who struggle to meet even the most basic need of satisfying their own physical hunger. This is especially true this year as families attempt to navigate through the financial crisis impacting our entire country. Once securely employed, local men and women are now challenged to provide food for their families as companies announce closings or downsizing.
The Community Resources Food Pantry is in desperate need of our help. Covenant Church can make a difference in the lives of our neighbors by donating our time and riches to the Food Pantry during the month of June.
If God is calling you to donate time please call Suzanne Caffee (765-583-4137).
The Wish List below will guide you as you consider sharing your riches. Your response may indeed communicate God’s faithfulness in a tangible way.
