Sunday Morning Learning Communities

In these classes God's Word is taught by an instructor and discussed in table groups as we seek to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12.2).  Theses classes range in size from 10-40 people, and are safe places to ask the hard questions we all have and to be supported in prayer.  It is our desire that through these times each participant will not only connect with others but also put down roots, becoming firmly established in their faith while also being challenged to go out and make a difference for Him.

Current Sunday Learning Communities (for Adults):

10:45 a.m.

Spiritual Formation for Real Life: The Seven Deadly Sins and the Virtues of Faith, Hope and Love – Join us today in Gathering Place 1. The Church fathers recognized that the sins of pride, envy, anger, sloth, greed, lust and gluttony were blocks to a person’s maturity and experience of God’s truth and grace. Along with a study of the effects of these sins in our lives, the class will also explore the theological virtues of faith, hope and love. This class led by Kimberley Knochel and Cliff Johnston.

Single Parent Sunday Group – All single parents are invited to meet each Sunday in the Library.  The format is casual with a get acquainted time, coffee and doughnuts, short video and discussion time. Questions? Contact Dave Lawson, 430-4618, or Cheryl Tillett, 463-7303.
