Congregational Prayer

We meet in the Chapel on the 3rd Monday of each month from 7-8pm.

Come join us as we seek God together in prayer.  We gather together spending time in corporate prayer, asking God to remind us of His purpose so that we may glorify His Name.

God both commands and invites us to pray. We seek to be obedient as a people, and express our dependence upon God by moving often to our knees together. Once a month the congregation is invited to join in turning to God and seeking His will for our life together, as well as lift up the needs and concerns of the wider world, and seek His healing.

Corporate (group) prayer can be a powerful time with fellow believers, lifting up the Name of Jesus, bowing humbly before our God, and raising our petitions to Him so that He would be glorified.

This is very different from private prayer. Our prayer gatherings are focused on and directed by Scripture, and involve the weaving together of the prayers of those present in powerful ways. While we might expect corporate prayer to be protracted or tedious, our experience is different, and we often come away refreshed in our faith.
