Craft

Join our group on the first and third Mondays of each month, as we prep the craft materials for the next meeting, and create some samples. Our goal is to complete some examples, and organize materials so that the craft can be assembled more easily on MOPS Mondays. We offer fellowship, friendship, snacks, childcare, and creativity -- with a bit of cutting and pasting on the side. Need not be crafty to apply.
Hospitality

The hospitality team works behind the scenes before moms ever show up at the door on Monday mornings. We work hard to make plans for everything from who greets you at the door, to the menu, to the table centerpieces. It takes a great team of women to pull together all of the responsibilities of the Hospitality Team and we'd love for you to join the group this year. Some of our responsiblitities include:
- Setting the menu for the year
- Managing the kitchen at each meeting
- Setting up for the MOPS meetings
- Helping to find ways to implement the year's theme into the meeting
- Making centerpieces for the tables
- Organizing and serving as greeters

If you love to care for and serve others, this is the committee for you! Sounds like our "mom" description, doesn't it? Well don't fear, this committee won't be wiping noses or changing diapers. Instead, we'll meet as needed to pray, organize meals, send cards of encouragement, and organize charitable events. If you're interested in helping to reach out and meet these needs, please let us know!

It is our goal to offer opportunities for moms to connect outside of MOPS meetings. This could include: starting play groups, mom's night out, MOPS and POPS, or play dates. Come and help develop these opportunities!

Moms Night Out

This is an informal time to dig deeper into topics of interest to us as moms.We will be meeting at the home of Sharon Henderson (our pastor's wife) one evening a month for an open forum of discussing, sharing, and asking questions. Topics will vary based on the interest of the moms attending. If you're looking for a place to grow deeper, discuss and share more, and just be able to connect more with other moms, this may be the perfect place for you! More specific details (on day and time) to come later.
Generation to Generation

Wanted: Babies, preschoolers and their Moms
Why: To brighten the day of nursing home residents
When: 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 10:30-11:00 a.m.
Where: Westminster Health Center Pavilion, 2741 N. Salisbury, West Lafayette
The presence of your child will light up a Senior Citizen's day. Come for 10-30 minutes or whatever your schedule allows.
