WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM KID'S ALIVE
Kids Alive strives to nurture a love for learning fostered by growth through play.
Our 3 year old preschool primarily focuses on social interaction with a large amount of fun, movement, and play. Our goal is that your child will recognize his or her printed first name, know the months of the year and days of the week, be able to recognize and identify shapes, colors and some letters. In addition, we will be introducing writing, cutting, and other reading readiness skills.
Our 4 year old PreKindergarten class is still a social preschool with a shift toward academics. The skills needed to thrive in Kindergarten are artfully woven into your child’s day through hands on activities, song and play. Our goal for these students is they will be able to write their own name, identify the letters of the alphabet (upper and lower case), cut with scissors, count to a hundred, as well as progress with their large and small motor skills.
Our newest class is the four day PreKindergarten class geared for older 4 year olds and 5 year olds. This class has the same expectations as our 4 year old PreKindergarten class, with some variations to keep the class fresh and challenging, as well as age appropriate for these older students. This class will offer some additional opportunities to explore through cooking, science experiments, library check out, and music. We ask that these children be 5 by December 1st or be prescreened by the director.
The overall goal of Kids Alive is to help your child’s first ‘school’ experience be filled with fun, song, dance, movement, discovery and wonder surrounded by the comfort that they are loved.
DAILY SCHEDULE
All of our morning classes meet from 9:00-11:30am
Afternoon Pre-K meets from 12:30-3:00pm
Preschool meetsTuesday and Thursday OR
Wednesday and Friday.
Pre-K children meet Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Pre-K older 4 and 5 year old children meet on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.

PROGRAM
All children require love, acceptance, guidance, faith, protection, security, and independence.
Our purpose is to meet the needs of each child in a loving, sharing atmosphere. Classes will be taught with a Christian perspective.
We want your child to grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and to learn skills to prepare them for kindergarten.

WHOLE CHILD APPROACH TO EDUCATION

The teachers at Kids Alive believe in and use a whole child approach to education which emphasizes physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual developmental stages. All stages are considered equally important. We believe it is important to help the children learn new things by allowing them to actively participate in a variety of activities.
TUITION
Preschool Class—$ coming / year 3 day Pre-K Class—$ coming /year 4 day Pre-K Class—$ coming /year
For the convenience of families that prefer not to pay the total
tuition at one time, we have divided tuition into 9 payments.
Preschool $68.00 per month for fall 2008
3 Day Pre-K $93.00 per month for fall 2008
4 Day Pre-K $125.00 per month for fall 2008
At the time of registration, there is a $50.00 non-refundable fee. This registration fee needs to be turned in with the application form. In addition, a one time materials fee of $25.00 is due the first month of school.
Kids Alive is a non-profit organization. Tuition payments and registrations are a source of income for operating expenses. We cannot give refunds for personal days due to vacation, illness, snow days, or other personal reasons.
Please pay your tuition between the 1st and 5th of the month
(September through May in 9 payments)
